If an Emix buttrape qualifies as: A bunch of nublets posting idiotic comments Emix when he is not present to respond.
Then, yes, it's an Emix buttrape. However, if you're implying I was in anyway "shot down", "owned", "pwned", or any other possible permutation of any synonym, Then you're WRONG! Because as I've previously explained, in the above posts, you're all fucking MORONS.

I don't think a string of posts about Emix when he's not online really constitutes a "butt-rape" by any means. A butt-rape would be a debate between two sides in which one side is the clear loser- take the debates in the previous Presidential Election for example- Dubya was butt-raped, it's pretty obvious, but he WON the election anyway- so what does that tell you?
Emix is an asshole. But he never claimed to be anything BUT an asshole, and he seems to revel in the fact that he's an asshole. I like him cause he's HONEST about it, and I can appreciate an honest asshole over a sugar-coated suck-up.
As far as Emix signing back up on JS under various pseudonyms- whatever, I don't care. Is it "lame" well maybe a little yeah- but he's just twistin' some titties- I for one find it funny to watch how seriously people take it, it's a kid with computer- whoopdedoo. I appreciate JS as a resource, and even a community, and I enjoy talking with a few of the members there. But I also think they guard and protect it like a Holy treasure for some reason I can't really understand, there's this naive, 1950's illusion of innocence on that board- it's like "Mr. Rogers' Guitar Neighborhood," or something some time, lol. I think they do a good job at keeping that site the way they want it- but the fact is MOST of the members over a certain age, and above a certain level of experience have run screaming from there like it was a sinking ship lately. I'm not going to even TRY and imagine why that is, it just seems like most of the members I value have REALLY cut-down on their posting. So if Emix ruffles some feathers over there by coming back on under different names and stirring up a shit-storm, that's fine, but I do think the point has been made, and any further activity will only make HIM look bad.
As to Emix's playing, does he talk better than he plays? I don't know- and I don't much care. Regardless he knows a lot of theory, and he can help us all out where that's concerned. I've asked my teacher about some of the theory stuff Emix has offered on this site and over at JS and so far I've got confirmation that his info is right-on. Does he brag or "talk-up" his own abilities? I don't know. I'm not here to discover any fantastic new music, I'm here to learn about guitar that's it. If I happen to catch some cool tunes as well- that's great. Point is you can have an immense KNOWLEDGE of something with or without technical ability. Maybe he CAN play like a mother-fucker, maybe not, I don't see that it's relevant.
So anyway I'm not taking a "side" I like Emix AND Valve. They could either BOTH be great players, or they could BOTH be completely full of bullshit- but I don't care, they entertain me, and they provide some decent knowledge, so in the end does it really even matter?

I'm also playing through a stock MIM strat on a noisy bridge pickup, my distortion pedal gives me lots o' noise.

I just think it's hilarious how personally people take that place. If you pissed off some people, or you were opinionated- fine. And you got banned, that's fine too. I just don't see why people do the dance of joy about it. Why they can't let it lie. Though you DO kinda fan the flames too, lol. You're kinda askin' for it. I just think if they want to make you out the bad-guy that's fine if it makes them feel good. They just shouldn't forget that you also HELPED a lot of people. I don't get why you keep going back there though- what's to be gained by it? If they want to boot you, if they feel you're a harmful influence, okay, but I don't see a cause for celebration when they kick you out I really don't. |

Boston, I'll be honest with you.
I have no intention to rejoin or mesh into the community of Jam Session, thats obvious. The mods are under the idiotic assumption that I tried to hide my identity as Dentist. If you read any of the posts you'd know I was intentionally acting like myself, seeing how far It'd go.
Next time I join, which I will when I get bored, I'll just be a phantom nuance, they won't even know.
Anyway, the point is this. What else should I do when I have 2 hours to kill before my girlfriend gets off work? Why not piss off some annoying, middle-aged, elitist, washed up old pricks on an internet forum?

I'm slightly amused by most of the comments and reactions I get, but it really bothers me when people say JonR or Eclectifish know more than me, because E-fish doesn't, and I answer half the question before JonR gets to them, so...

Eclectifish claims I am troubled, yet he instigates and engages in the disputes we have. He, the elder, by many decades INSTIGATED the problems, then punished ME for standing up for myself. Yes, I am truly troubled and in need of psychiatric care.
