I have discovered the key to optimal guitar performance, and I am glad to share the secret with you. As follows:
Play your guitar like you are masturbating, and want to make it last as long as possible. You do not want to unleash the fury prematurely! Take it slow and easy, some short slow strokes, some gentle squeezes and tugs, and a gradual increase in speed until you are ready for that one frenetic moment (the 'money shot', if you will) in the very end of the piece. The end result is a much more impressive and satisfying performance.
