They're pretty sick. Great rhythms and one-of-a-kind approach to lyrics and songwriting. David Byrne is an undeniable genius, and very creative and under-rated guitarist too. I like them a lot. People looking to check them out should rent the "Stop Making Sense," DVD from Netflix. If you like concert films this is one of the best around.

Yeah, I like them. If I listen to them too much I get pretty sick of them but sometimes I can really feel their music.

I think someone told me to check them out on JS once, but i never did that I remember I think that was ME Valve, lol. Anyway they are great. I listened to "Remain In Light" last night. Great album. It's easy to write them off as a "new-wave" type 80's band, but IMO they were SO much more than that. And they could LAY IT DOWN live too, VERY good musicians. |
