just a great band altogether. Aaron Lewis has some great lyrics, singing, acoustic riffs, and altogether a great band. but most of all i respect his mostly acoustic songs, simply because they are a huge inspiration for me.
before my one of my best friends moved to Tennessee, Staind became his favorite band, because he felt he could relate to their music. i am now really addicted to these guys and i really love Epiphany and Zoe Jane, both amazing songs, as well as Outside, Right Here, Open Your Eyes, and It's Been A While (amazing song). give Staind a listen if you haven't already, they aren't bad for being a popular band. they're popular because they're good.

I'm only really familiar with the radio singles. I remember thinking when they first "hit" that it was a refreshing new approach (and talent) in a genre I'd nonetheless lost interest in. I won't turn it off it comes on the radio, but I don't own any either.
I did see them playing some kind of acoustic thing on some show on Mtv at some point and I remember distinctly thinking "This is the REAL deal," meaning they have a lot of skill and talent.
Any albums you can recommend?
