I think the mods should stop taking sides just because of similar music interest. Right now, JS seems a lot better than this forum.

Dude, I just posted in the "Mad Member" thread and it disappeared! I'm disappointed. This forum isn't supposed to be overmoderated . I hope ya stick around though, at least for the amp section .

I'm not taking sides. I don't even like Ledtom that much. I was deleting the topic because it didn't seem like it was helping anyone. What's the point of posting a PM that you received from an angry member? Even in the Ring Of Death? So think about that before accusing me of taking sides.
And how the hell am I over moderating. That's the ONLY topic I've ever deleted and I've only locked ONE thread because it wasn't helping anyone either. I'm not getting on people's cases about discussing porn for instance and I haven't been cleaning up people's posts. I've let a lot of things go that the JS mods would have made a big fucking deal about.

Because, I wanted to discuss the maturity levels and arrogance that seems to be prevailing lately. Seems pretty important to me.

Because, I wanted to discuss the maturity levels and arrogance that seems to be prevailing lately. Seems pretty important to me. OK. But I still don't see why you had to post the PM and speculate as to who you think sent it. It's fine to post a PM but don't name names. You can post the topic again, just don't put anyone's name in it if it's going to be disparaging. Post the PM, don't put anyone's name on it, and then discuss maturity.

Well my bends are in tip top shape. I could use a bit of help in keeping the high E muffled when fingering a 7 b9 though

A plain vanilla dominant 7 does not achieve the desired effect when needed, though. Neither does the interference from the high E string. What to do? I just cannot bend my finger in the appropriate manner to avoid fretting the string without having it ring, which is just as bad. Is this the "bends" you were talking about?

I dont even know why you are talking about this, this forum was not made to compete with JS. I know alot of people treat it like that, but ur just instigating it further.

I think too many of the JS members keep popping in here expecting this to be some sort of competitive site to JS.
I noticed Munga rolled back over to JS to state his "opinion" over in JS...well, thanks for the critique Munga, but, it's unnecessary...
If you believe JS is a better forum, then you should probably be over there enjoying the wonderful things they have to offer, and they do offer alot.
I'm on this forum, because I like the direction it seems to want to go, and I like being on the ground floor of it. Not to mention, there's good info here as well....
I still enjoy JS, but, I've been checking this site out much more frequently, because I'd like to see it become a success...
If you don't want it to be a success, Munga, or anyone else, there really is nothing holding you here...
