i've looked them up in magazines and online store... Metalzone, Metal Master, Metal Muff, Bleedingskullsandsnakespouringoutofunforgivingsouls.... seriously...which pedal should i buy?

I kinda like the Boss Metal Zone. In the brief time I had to play with one I could get some decent sounds, especially with some reverb.

The metal master is horrible. I sold it, because the buzz when it's turned on is unbearable and it's muddy and terrible sounding.

Metal Zone sounds cool for bedroom level stuff, it can make a POS amp sound decent, but if you want real distortion look up an amp that HAS good distortion, there's a reason why people buy Marshalls/Mesa-Boogies/ect instead of "Marshall-in-a-box" kind of pedals.
