I'm outta here. No offense to anyone on the board or to Freya, I'm not mad at anyone, but this site and I are not getting along. It's just a little too immature for me. Not saying that you guys are a bunch of immature people, but I don't feel as drawn to this site as I was at one time. I think part of it may be due to the fact that I'm 22 and it seems like a lot of you guys are in your teens, and I don't know how to relate to you guys. I am just more comfortable talking to older people. Also, I got the impression that all these "How to be a mod" threads were partly aimed at me even though I was doing what I thought was right. Anyway, I'm not gonna get into that. I wish this site the best of luck and I hope you guys get as big as JS is right now. I'll even send some people your way. No hard feelings with anyone.

And I'll leave this here for a week so everyone can read it but then I'll be deleting my account. I want to cut all ties with this site but I would like to still talk to other members who have duel citizenship with JS. Once again, no hard feelings.

Good Luck Iris- I wish you nothing but the best. You're one tough broad, I always dig talkin' to ya. I know what you mean- I'm even older than YOU, but I seem to relate okay. I sometimes feel like Marlon Brando's character Colonel Walter E. Kurtz in "Apocalypse Now," lol. The insane tribal-elder figure spouting abstract bits of wisdom and gathering my evil minions to do my bidding and create a new society muahahaha.

I think this place has a refreshing attitude and there are certainly members here every bit as knowledgeable about theory and gear- but this place will NEVER fill ALL my internet guitar-chat needs. For example on JS there are TONS of other members in gigging bands. MOST of the musical problems/challenges I'M having have to do with band members, set-lists, unruly fans, Band/Life balance. I can't get MUCH help with those things here cause most members here just aren't AT that point in life yet. Though you little bastards are awesome- and I'm sure a significant percentage of you fuckers will wind up being genuine rockstars someday.

So anyway iris- I wish you well on the journey of your life wherever it might take you.

if you wanna leave here, that's ok and don't say no offense. people know who people are and how they respond...words will mean the same. i'm not offended though, i get where you're coming from. i never intended this place to end up this way or any way at all. i just wanted to create my own hangout boards for me and my guitar friends.
