I got my chest tube out yesterday... It didnt hurt to bad at all, he un tapped everything and pulled it out like he was starting a lawn mower

... i was suprised at how it DIDNT hurt at all... it was pretty nasty though... the layer of stuff around ur lungs is the yellowish goo... and it was covered in it, and blood... was about 7-8 inches long, gooey and bloody lol... the site healed within 24 hours (he told me it would... but i was kinda skeptical)... now i just have a hole, with 2 stiches around it... so

im able to sleep on my side now, and sleep without tape pulling...

my skin had a abit of a reaction from the tubing taht was taped to my side... but that didnt hurt except when he was pulling the tape off...
