So far, Freya, I think these forums are pretty good. The only things that need to be added are a Showcase-type section, and a Tools of the Trade-type section. Also if you can add a thing to add in your profile that shows what gear that you have that would be pretty cool.  |

i am limited to what i can do on here but the boards creation part will be easy. and thanks for the suggestions, i totally don't mind them from anyone on here. i want these boards to be great. in time we might have a better system going and everything so who knows.

Dude that's awesome. Just make it less metal, from what I understand Freya isn't trying to make a board based around metal. He wants diversity i think. |

Ok. Well I used to be a graphics designer, and I still dabble in it, but I have a few suggestions:
New skin. Dark colors are uninviting, lighter, brighter colors are more welcoming. Also, I could create a banner to suit the new skin, and new images if that is possible with this type of board. If not, I suggest you try to use Invision, its much more customizable, and you can get a lot of mods to enhance it.

That's what I was talkin' to Freya about on MSN... Invision is so much better, and skins are fairly easily to create.

i realize i am getting a lot of complaints about the color scheme, logo, or even the host i am using. i slapped this thing together in 1 hour though, remember that.
right now i don't know if we'll switch to a new host, i am still considering my options. let's just keep it here for now before i make something new anytime in the near future. i will agree to changing to a new color scheme sometime soon. i know i'm overly metal a lot of times, i try to cut down some.

I like the way the forum looks as it is. Just needed to accustomed to things is all. Personally, I like the black background. Whatever you decide is fine. Great job. It's hard to believe you got so much done in such a short time.
