if you are a moderator of any type on my boards, here are some rules and information you might need to make sure you're doing everything right.
types of moderators
Paragraph 1: watch after the boards you moderate (your name will be under the title of it on the front page). keep the board relevant and safe from bad content (pornography, extreme adult content, etc).
Paragraph 2: you don't have to delete a thread because it is irrelevant. just have it moved. only lock threads that get out of hand. if a topic turns into an argument, you can choose to lock it or send it to the Ring of Death, but don't delete it because it'll have information for other users to look at if they are looking for the related topic.
Paragraph 3: stickies are up to you. personally i don't think you'll need a whole lot but whatever floats your boat.
Paragraph 4: you can't ban anyone, but you can tell me or theinsaneguitarist what's going on and if we see it absolutely necessary to ban or delete a member, we will do it. sometimes it has to be done, especially for people who just make an account to make a hate post or excessively try to get my boards taken off the web. i wont ban for an unusual reason.
ok, that's basically what your job is. if i ever need to come back and edit this for certain reasons, then i will. so check it every once in a while if you must. that is all for now.
