Aside from my exhaustively long posts that is. But I assume you occasionally crack a book from time to time right? What do you like?
Normally I'm into novels that are slightly unusual, dark, satirical. Not necessarily sci-fi, though certain of those themes can be cool. I dig Kurt Vonnegut a LOT. Also Roald Dahl, Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club), Hemingway, Hunter S. Thompson, Tom Wolfe, Truman Capote, Sherman Alexie, Michael Chabon.
I'm taking a class right now on the plays of Arthur Miller and Tennessee Williams, and I gotta say- Williams is the man.
Anyway- what do you like to read, favorite writer, genre, novel?
My favorite book overall is Michael Chabon's "Wonder Boys" which they made into a movie with Michael Douglas and a buncha other people too. Great movie, AWESOME book.

Since marriage and kids came along, I don't read much at all any more. Now I work 16 hours a day so I barely get to read two books a year any more, used to read 2 per week. Yeah, it seems like I spend a lot of time screwing around on forums, but I'm working!!! I troll the forums while I'm waiting for files to convert or upload to the servers.
I read mostly philosophy and religion, eastern religions in particular. Never was much of a fan of fiction at all; mysteries are too contrived and the popular stuff like Stephen King is garbage (killer clowns? killer psychos? who needs that stupid shit?). Though I'm not into the occult, I do find that the subject makes for some interesting reading.
Aleister Crowley is my favorite author by far. Again, the occult angle is mostly sham but IMO he is a true wizard of words. He writes beautifully, playing the English language the way Joe Pass plays a guitar.

I used to really like old literature, there was a time when Mythology REALLY interested me, so I read The Illiad, Odyssey, the Aenid, Beowulf, ect. I really enjoyed Salvatore's books. They're all Dungeons and Dragons-kinda stuff, his diction isn't like,"OMG THAT IS INCREDIBLE," but they guy can write stories, I got his whole Dark Elf collection.

I really like sci-fi stuff..and um...I dunno lol. I guess I'll read anything but it really depends on how it is written. Some books I like are Jurassic Park, Brave New World, The Enemy, .etc..that stuff

He writes beautifully, playing the English language the way Joe Pass plays a guitar. Ive read some of Crowley's early works, mostly poetry, but could never figure out what he was driving at. He seemed to spend his whole life just sampling this and that, but never stating a clear case for anything. Maybe he was really more of a song and dance man than a mystic. Killer clowns? I love it - classic themes man!

I used to think Stephen King was black because BB King is black, and his last name ends with King, and Stephen King's last name is King, so I thought he was black.
