I don't know. Some weird crap has happened in the past with me but i still find the "god" concept hard to believe.

I voted "no". I think religion is/was a way to explain things to people that they wouldn't normally understand. Mostly was, because most people nowadays are intelligent and educated enough to understand scientific concepts, ideas, and facts.
I would like to believe in God, an afterlife, and religion in general. It's depressing to think that there isn't anything after this life and our bodies will just rot away until we're nothing but another grain of sand in history, bound to be forgotten. I would love it - I'd be ecstatic - if someone definitively proved that there is a heaven, nirvana, etc to look forward to if we live good lives. But I'm not going to kid myself and get my hopes up.
If anyone has any "evidence" of a god, by all means show it to me. Like I said, I would absolutely LOVE for a god and an afterlife to exist. I can't even put it into words.
I have a really hard time believing any of it right now though, sadly. It's just too ridiculous.

i voted no, i think george carlin said it best, "theres an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do, every minute of every day, and the invisible man has a special list of 10 things he does not want you to do, and if you do any of these things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and burn and suffer and choke and scream and cry for ever and ever till the end of time... but he loves you" and "this si the kinda shit you would expect from an office temp with a bad attitude, in any decently run universe this guy would have been out on his all powerful ass a long time ago" i like george carlin

I'm not sure if there's a god or not. I'm Agnostic so that kind of goes without saying. When I die I'll finally know if one exists or not. And if God DOES exist then I guess I've got a one way ticket to hell.

i believe in god. i believe he exists and always has. i believe Jesus was his son. but i am not a Chrisitian. i wont call myself that...because i have no true religion. it would be a lie to say that i were a Christian. Exactly my thoughts. The only thing I'm sure about in life is God. I don't know 'nuthin 'bout Jesus, ect, I find him hard to believe in. I don't like the idea of religions because most of the time it's just a way to control people. I gotta admit that they do set good morals(most of them anywho), but they also make very simple-minded rules, like the Jehova-witnesses with their,"Can't watch any TV show with magic, ect". I've gottan a little bit of lots of religion and mixed them into my principles in life. Overall I believe that if I try to lead a good life, if I truly learn and repent from my mistakes(Kinda like confession, but I figure, confessing to a priest is symbolic, so wouldn't confessing within my own heart be the same?), and try to not hurt other people I'll be fine. I believe in something awesome after death, exactly what I'm not sure of though.

i personally believe a lot of religious beliefs derive from fear and questioning ones own life. it's natural to assume something has to be there from the beginning, since that's how we all originated as well as every other living organism on earth and anything non living too. so it's natural for scientists in a lab to assume the universe was created. when i say that, some of you get confused i bet, but what i am trying to say is that fact that the Big Bang Theory was even put to thought was because they are viewing the universe as a creature...it had to be created. it doesn't make sense to them for something to always exist. therefore, believing in something you don't understand would be lying to yourself.
i don't understand Christianity. i don't wanna lie to myself and say i'm a Christian for admiring Jesus. i do believe in the broad concept of a universe that was never created, and also a God that always existed. but see i believe that God is actually the universe, and we are living in him, so i'm a different cookie from the jar.

No- no "God" far as I'm concerned. I believe there's an energy between living things, but I think LIFE created IT, not the other way around.
